Wonderful trip to Khao Lak and Khao Sok!

Our stay in Khao Lak was wonderful. Our guide Pai from ExploreUntoldThailand booked a wonderful hotel for us, right on the beach with a great view. Our bungalow, which was furnished in Thai style, was set in a beautiful, flower-filled garden.
Pai chose very nice restaurants for us on site and arranged Thai massages. She also organized a snorkeling trip to Similan Island for us. It’s a one-hour speedboat ride to the enchanting islands in the middle of the Andaman Sea. Crystal-clear water, beautiful island formations, a snow-white beach and a great crew. It was a fantastic day.
But the highlight was our excursion to Khao Sok. We were taken on a private longtail boat through the beautiful national park. The area is simply breathtaking. We had a snack in a floating restaurant in a hidden corner of the beautiful reservoir. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any wild elephants on our boat trip, but we did see a species of guenon.
I would go there again at any time.
